gga's multi-cultural consulting team addresses a broad spectrum of our clients' human resources and management needs, including.
  • Executive search, recruitment, and retention;
    • Executive SearchAt the heart of every successful organization are people talented, hard-working, resourceful individuals who know how to solve problems, create opportunities, lead others, and work effectively. But finding good employees is hard work. It can be exhausting and time-consuming, and often, it can be a major distraction from an organization's primary mission. For this reason, many companies enlist the services of an outside consultant. That specializes in finding good employees. At gga, we have distinguished ourselves through our ability to help companies identify, recruit, and retain the outstanding executive, management, professional, and technical staff they need to stay on the leading edge in their fields. Our outstanding team of search professionals is extremely aggressive in pursuing the professionals their client needs. They identify candidates through contacts in your industry, through their personal resources cultivated through years of recruiting, and through gga's own extensive database of outstanding talent. gga's executive search work adds a unique twist that distinguishes us from most search firms; we specialize in presenting our clients with pools of outstanding candidates from truly diverse backgrounds, including women and individuals of various racial and ethnic backgrounds. Over the years, we have worked with countless organizations that understand the growing importance of diversity and recognize the added value of calling on us to help them meet their staffing needs.
  • Contract staffing;
    • A Money-Saving Approach

      Use of contract staffing limits a company's financial responsibilities; when the work ends, so does the contract employees assignment and without demoralizing, distracting, and costly layoffs. That's because contract employees stay on our payroll, not yours. In addition, we bear responsibility for most traditional HR costs, including recruiting, screening, testing, and checking references; administering records and benefits; paying taxes; workers compensation; and disciplining and terminating employees.

    • A Wise Approach

      Finding good people is hard. It takes time, it costs money, and no matter how careful you are, you never really know what you will get until you see your new employee in action. So why take the risk? Through contract staffing, you can test a prospective employee's skills without making a long-term commitment a practice often called try before you buy. Then, you can decide whether to add an individual to your own staff.
    • A Better Way to Go

      Using gga contract employees can help your organization in five key ways. It can ease the workload on your regular staff, increase productivity, facilitate the evaluation of prospective employees, save money and free you and your staff to focus on building your business.

  • Diversity consulting and cultural assessments;
    • Diversity Consulting

      You've decided that your company needs to take a closer look at diversity. Now what gga helps companies learn to think strategically about diversity and to transform diversity from an issue or a problem into a real strength.

    • Cultural Assessment

      gga performs two kinds of cultural assessments a mini-assessment that employs limited interviews and focus groups to produce a snapshot of an organization's culture and attitude toward diversity; and a more thorough examination that uses extensive interviews and focus groups, often accompanied by an employee survey, to draw an in-depth picture of an organization's culture and outlook on diversity.
    • Visioning and Education

      Visioning and education is a special technique that gga employs to facilitate its diversity work. In visioning and education, we bring together a company's leaders to help them develop a mutually accepted strategic vision of their diversity objectives and the means they will use to achieve those objectives. Participants are prepared beforehand and gga facilitates these meetings, leading participants through discussions that compel them to raise and address their concerns, examine their preconceptions and misgivings, and coalesce around a consensus set of objectives. Visioning and education sessions conclude with specific action planning designed to achieve those objectives.
    • Diversity and Implementation Planning and Management

      How does a company become more diverse. What must it do to prepare its employees. How will diversity affect its customers. How will it know if it is succeeding. gga helps companies address these and other concerns as they plan, implement, and manage their diversity initiatives. We can help with strategy development, action planning, and evaluating results; surveys of employees (and customers); diversity training for managers and employees; improved community relations; the development of enhanced recruiting programs designed to identify, attract, and retain diverse employees; and other strategic efforts designed to facilitate the transition to a more diverse workplace.

  • Diversity training;
    • Diversity Training

      In our increasingly diverse society, people do not all think and act alike. gga's diversity training strives to expose management and employees to the difference among them, to give people who spend a great deal of time together the common cultural understanding they need to pursue their mutual goals together. When most people hear the word diversity, they think of racial, ethnic, and gender differences. gga's diversity training recognizes the importance of these differences but also looks beyond them, to other differences social class, age, religion, sexual preference, family status, education, physical appearance, physical capacity, and more. gga's philosophy is that diversity is best understood through participation. Our approach to diversity training is participative and experimental, interactive and engaging. We seek to create a positive environment that focuses on finding solutions and learning better ways of performing, not laying blame. Our diversity training program is built around six major educational experiences awareness of the similarities and differences among us, communication and the different ways that different people communicate, appropriate behavior in the workplace, implementation of tools for correcting inappropriate workplace behavior, modeling desired behavior and coaching improved performance.

  • Management consulting;
    • Management Consulting

      Every organization has its moments of anxiety and excitement. Change is virtually the only constant in the business world, and with most change comes the need for management consulting. This anxiety and excitement and the inevitable stresses and strains they bring can be inspired by many kinds of change the loss of a key executive or the addition of a new one; rapid growth or loss of a market share; an acquisition or being acquired; the introduction of a new product or service or the launch of a new division; the diversification of the workforce. Despite everyone's best efforts, all changes cannot be successfully anticipated and planned for, so frequently, organizations must respond quickly and decisively to the opportunities and challenges that materialize before them. gga's management consulting services are built upon the accumulated experiences of our consultants past leaders in the public, private, academic, and non-profit sectors. Together, they have years of management experience and can help lead organizations through the inevitable stresses and strains, both positive and negative, that every organization experiences. Among the tools that we use for this work are organizational diagnosis and assessment, team-building, change, management consulting, human resources consulting, performance and productivity measurement. Managing in the new century is more difficult than ever the problems are more complex and the stakes have never been higher. Most organizations are well prepared for this challenge, but part of this preparation is knowing when you need outside help and whom to turn to when you need it. gga can help meet this need for your organization.
